Made To Order FAQ
WHAT IS MADE-TO-ORDER
Luckless LLC, doing business as Luckless Outfitters, is a made-to-order company, which means that your order item(s) have not been pre-printed or pre-made. When a customer places their order(s) with us, we order the blank products for your items from our suppliers typically within 24 hours if placed during the traditional work week. If a customer orders on the weekend, we will place this order on the next available business day (subject to any celebrated national or federal holidays). The ordering and blank reception process typically takes 3-4 business days for the blank items to arrive to our shop. During this time, we are working on developing and printing any applicable artwork pertaining to your order and getting any applicable artwork ready for transfer to the item(s) in your order(s).
Once we receive the blank item(s) for your order from our suppliers, we then separate the item(s) in your order place from the rest of our customers, and place your blank item(s) together with any applicable artwork pertaining to your order and finalize any remaining details for production.
We produce/print/develop/complete all our customers orders in the order that we receive them from our customers. So that means customers who have placed their order before yours, gets worked on first, before we get to yours. Depending on volume of orders that we have received, order production typically can range from 7 business days for us to complete production from your original order date, up to an estimated 17 business days. This approximate production time-frame can change depending on the volume of orders we've received, speed in which we receive the blank item(s) for your order, any amount of time it may take for a third party production house we may use to complete a portion or all of your order. We use the customer issued funds from their order value to purchase the blanks, print off any applicable artwork, place a product(s) order with any of our third-party vendors, invest man-hours into pre-production (machine set up - product sourcing - product readiness), respond to customer requested emails, and cover additional operating expenses directly relating to you order. What this means to you is that your order is not available for refund unless approved by a Luckless representative since we've already invested your money into developing your order.
