These NSFW Christmas Decorations Are Sure To Make Your Granny Blush

These NSFW Christmas Decorations Are Sure To Make Your Granny Blush

There are two types of people in this world: People who put up their Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving, and those who throw a fit when they see people decorating before Thanksgiving. Either way, it is safe to say that Christmas decorating time is in full swing, and we just had to share these totally inappropriate (but still hilarious) Christmas decorations that will make your grandma blush when she comes to visit:

Kids go crazy for the semi-creepy elf that seems to magically appear after Thanksgiving and moves around the house each night. But sometimes the Elf of the Shelf can get himself into a little bit of trouble.

Like when he poops in your favorite holiday candle:

Or when he lets a few hot Barbies influence him to make bad decisions.

When it comes to decorating the outside of your home for Christmas, there are many ways to make your home uniquely you. There are also a few ways that are sure to cause the neighbors to leave a strongly worded note on your front door. Like this one:

And this one too.

Decorating the Christmas tree is always a signature part of getting ready for the holidays. It’s always fun to combine classic family heirlooms with modern decorations to create a beautiful tree that reflects your past, present, and future. This year, sneak a few R-rated ornaments onto your tree to spice things up a bit.

Like this jolly Santa ornament with perfectly placed Santa hat.

And the only appropriate attire for Christmas decorating is an adult-themed ugly sweater, right?

There’s something a little exciting about sneaking a few NSFW Christmas ornaments into your holiday decorating.

Are there any R-rated decorations in your holiday boxes this year?

Our Dreams Have Come True: There's A Beer Spa In Denver

Our Dreams Have Come True: There's A Beer Spa In Denver

If you love beer and you love relaxing at a spa, then you’re going to want to ask for a few extra days off in March and plan a three-day visit to Denver’s Beer Spa. Yes, you read that right. Denver’s on a roll when it comes to recreational activities, and it’s Beer Spa, is just another reason to visit the beautiful city.

The Beer Spa, located in Denver, Colorado, opens in March and will allow visitors to literally soak in a tub of their favorite booze. Believe it or not, beer is packed with vitamins that can be extremely therapeutic (is that why we feel so good when we drink it?)

The Beer Spa aims to end the stigma that a spa day is just for the girls and encourage guys to come in, soak in the beer tubs or spend a few hours in the hops and barley inspired sauna. The goal is to invite guys in for some relaxation and pampering that allows them to keep their man cards. The treatment spaces can be sectioned off for individual use, or the garage-door style separator can be rolled up to accommodate groups. There is a zero-gravity massage chair, a warm sauna, and refreshing shower space. You can even get facials with beer-infused creams that help reduce acne and exfoliates the skin and then head to the taproom to enjoy your favorite brew.

And because we know you’re wondering, you don’t leave The Beer Spa smelling like you just bathed in beer. Even though you did. We’re not sure how they do it, but they do it.

Combining beer with a spa experience is a brilliant idea, and we’re kinda mad we didn’t think of it. It’s a pairing that ranks right up there with peanut butter and jelly and Netflix and Chill.

Would you go to Denver and check out the Beer Spa?

A Few Adult Beverages You Must Try This Holiday Season

Let's be honest. For most of us, we're going to need a little alcohol to get through this holiday season. Whether it's dealing with the in-laws or going to that snoozefest of a company Christmas party, a little booze can go a long way. Check out these ingenious ways to incorporate your favorite adult beverage into the holiday season:

Adult's Only Hot Chocolate

There's only one thing better than sipping hot chocolate around a bonfire to help get you in the mood for Christmas. And that's spiked hot chocolate. Pull out your favorite tin cups, a couple of fluffy marshmallows, and a few simple ingredients, and you've got a classic hot chocolate with a twist. Here's the recipe:

  • Whisk together milk, half-and-half, dulce de leche, and cinnamon sticks.
  • Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; cover and let stand 10 minutes.
  • Return mixture to a simmer. Gradually whisk in finely chopped dark chocolate, whisking until melted and smooth.
  • Remove from heat and stir in pure vanilla extract, kosher salt, and bourbon, Discard cinnamon sticks. Serve warm.

Christmas Shots

While you can't go wrong with tequila shots around the Christmas Tree, we found a few festive shot recipes that will warm everybody else on a cold winter evening. The Snowshoe is a classic whiskey shot (typically made with Wild Turkey Bourbon) and offset by the refreshing flavor of peppermint schnapps. The Polar Bear is the perfect mix of white crème de cacao liqueur and peppermint schnapps, and The Oatmeal Cookie is a delicate balance of butterscotch schnapps, Irish cream, Jägermeister and cinnamon schnapps. If you've got an experienced bartender in your group of friends, challenge them to a Santa Shot: A carefully layered drink of grenadine, green crème de menthe, and peppermint schnapps.

Seasonal And Festive Holiday Beers

If you don't have time to make a creative holiday cocktail, swing by the local grocery store and pick up some festive holiday beers. Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale, Highland Cold Mountain Winter Ale, and Samuel Adams Winter Lager All have bold flavors that pair well with all of the rich foods on your holiday menu.

Whether you're hosting a holiday bonfire with friends, or just trying to make it through another dinner with your nagging Aunt Lou, these holiday-inspired alcoholic drinks are the perfect addition to your holiday wish list.

6 Unusual New Year's Resolutions That'll Redefine Your New Year

6 Unusual New Year's Resolutions That'll Redefine Your New Year

Every year, we celebrate New Year's Eve with a dramatic countdown, good friends, and plenty of champagne. We also make the same 'ol new year resolutions that we always make, and most of us fall off the wagon by March. This year, instead of making the same old resolutions change things up by challenging yourself to some of these new years resolutions instead:

Learn A New Party Trick

One of the reasons we don't follow through with our new year's resolutions is because we "resolve' to do something that we really don't want to do. This year, commit to doing something that you love and look forward to. Vow to learn and master a new trick that is sure to impress friends and family all year long. Consider learning:

  • A card trick
  • A magic trick
  • How to juggle
  • A riddle that'll drive everyone nuts
  • A cool dance

Balance Your Budget

When we make huge goals like "get out of debt" or "make more money," we can get easily overwhelmed. Instead, choose one financial aspect of your life to focus on. Maybe cut down how much you spend at Starbucks each week, or be hyper-focused on the way to turn your hobby into a side hustle. Instead of looking at your financial situation like a black hole of chaos, focus on one thing you can actively work on, and then do it!

Make A New Friend Each Month

If you're extroverted, this is probably an easy resolution. This just means you'll have to attend more parties, host more events, volunteer more often, and say yes to more social gatherings. Bummer. Resolve to put yourself out there more often, meet new people, and make one new friend each month. If you're introverted, this may be more of a challenge. But new friends can drastically enrich your life, and committing to stepping out of your comfort zone and building new relationships can make your new year a whole lot sweeter.

Spread Kindness

Decide that this year is your year for random acts of kindness. Make a resolution to do nice things for people without expecting anything in return. Donate to charity, bring in donuts for your co-workers, volunteer, or pay for the Starbucks order for the car behind you. Make it a point to spread more kindness this year. It costs nothing to be kind and can impact people in a way you could never imagine. Being kind will also change the way you feel about yourself this year.

Face A Fear

When you think about things that make you scared, what comes to mind? Public speaking? Heights? Flying on an airplane? Small spaces? Think of something that really freaks you out, but that you wish you could get over. Think of small but productive ways you could use this year to face this fear. What could you be doing if this fear didn't control you? Even if it means it takes you a whole year to face, you can take little, intentional steps each week to conquer it.

Disconnect

Raise your hand if you're addicted to your cell phone. We see you, put your hands down. We can get so caught up in the obsession of social media that we miss out on the life that is happening right in front of us. If you've got a habit of texting and driving, focus on that. Your life, or someone else's, depends on it. Make a goal to put the phone down more often, step back from the social media accounts that don't make you feel good about yourself, and spend more time connecting with the people you love.

How you end, 2019 is how you'll start 2020. So decide how you're going to focus on self-improvement next year, but start now. Who says you have to wait til 12:01 on January 1st to start making big moves?

We'd love to hear some of your New Years Resolutions! Tell us in the comments below!
